<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color signal processor and a display device capable of converting a color space with low power consumption and at low costs without deteriorating gradation while correcting the variation for every product. <P>SOLUTION: This color signal processor has a color signal processing part 10, which includes: a ROM 102 for storing a parameter (LUT) for color space conversion; an input correcting part 106 for inputting a color signal expressed with various color spaces, and performing inversion gamma conversion to linearize display characteristics; a color space converting part 107 for performing the color space conversion corresponding to display output based on the LUT to the linearized display characteristics; a gradation generating part 108 for performing the pseudo increase of gradation decreased according to the color space conversion; and a CPU 100 for performing the rewriting of the LUT as necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
