<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus applicable to a software defined radio (SDR) and further determines voltage and/or a frequency profile for a processor regarding processing of an apparatus utilizing dynamic scaling of voltage (DVS). <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides a controller for the processing apparatus having a plurality of processing resources, at least some of the resources having controllable supply voltage and/or frequency, the controller comprises a means for scheduling operations on the resources, at least some of the operations having a predetermined deadline by which the operation must be performed, a means for determining a voltage and/or frequency profile for the operation having the dead line and means for instructing the resources to perform the operations according to the schedule and the profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
