PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper supply device capable of stably supplying paper sheets having high stiffness and large coefficient of friction to a printer one by one and to provide an image forming device having the paper supply device. SOLUTION: This paper supply device is provided with a paper sheet storage part for storing paper sheets to be supplied to an image forming means, a paper sheet feeding means for taking out paper sheets positioned in the uppermost part among the paper sheets stored in the paper sheet storage part sequentially and feeding them, a paper sheet handling conveyance means for conveying paper sheets fed by the paper sheet feeding means toward the image forming means along a predetermined conveyance path while handling them one by one, and a pressing means for pressing the paper sheet feeding means downward against the paper sheet stored in the paper sheet storage part.
