PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary unit for mounting a license plate capable of enlarging an allowance range of a mounting position and an angle of the license plate in an automobile and a motorcycle. SOLUTION: In the turning/stopper mechanism, projections are projectably/sinkably arranged on a plurality of recessed parts circularly provided on concentric circle making a fixing unit insertion hole of one sliding part as a center with a desired gap and projections are projectably/sinkably arranged on a plurality of opposed recessed parts on the other sliding part. One sliding part and the other sliding part are joined by the fixing unit inserting to the fixing unit insertion hole and the strength state of projecting/sinking of the projections is adjusted by strength of the fixing state.
