PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for determining a DNA base sequence, having a small-sized and simple constitution. SOLUTION: Reagents are held in a reaction module for a pyrosequencing provided with a plurality of reaction parts 10 and reagent introduction thin tubes 6 integrally formed on a device substrate 5 and separated reagent wells 1, 2, 3 and 4. The reagents are introduced through the reagent introduction thin tubes (capillaries) 6 to the reaction parts 10. A zone of 2 cm of the reagent introduction thin tubes (capillaries) 6 in contact with each reaction part 10 is composed of thin capillaries of about 0.1 mm inner diameter. The injection speed is determined by the resistance of a liquid passing through the zone. Consequently many kinds of DNAs can be simultaneously analyzed. |
