PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel that can be easily manufactured and can sufficiently exhibit design property by a decoration member. SOLUTION: This steering wheel has a rim section 12, and the rim section 12 comprises a die-cast rim section core bar 15 and a rim coating section 16 for coating the outer surface thereof. The rim coating section comprises a rim coating section body 17 and a garnish 18 made of synthetic resin. The rim section core bar 15 has a core bar recessed part 26, and the core bar recessed part 26 has a core bar projecting section 29. While, the garnish 18 has a decoration projecting part 28 engaged with the core bar recessed part 26. The outer peripheral surface of the decoration projecting part 28 abuts on the core bar projecting section 29 and is deformed, and the decoration projecting part 28 is locked to the core bar recessed part 26.
