PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device provided with a sufficiently small gel pot which can downsize an actuator assembly more than is possible today. SOLUTION: An almost U-shaped gel pot is formed together with a side wall of a suspension holder 6 by cutting and raising a yoke base 2, and also the yoke base 2 is provided with a notch in order to prevent a gel cushioning material from flowing out.
