A multi-function control lever for a fork lift truck has a tilt action (12a,b), about a main axis (12), to raise and lower the forks. A finger tip control (13) on the lever enables the operator to vary the tilt of the forks. The finger control is on the side of the lever away from the operator and is operated by the index finger to tilt (14a,b) about an axis (14) parallel to the main tilt axis of the lever. A third tilt action, to either side, moves the forks to either side. The control is self centering. |
