发明名称 HIGH SENSITIVITY DIFFERENTIAL REFRACTOMETER FLOW CELL AND ITS DESIGN METHOD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high sensitivity differential refractometer flow cell capable of reducing a diffraction effect without increasing a sample by minimizing the sample volume and further enhancing the accuracy of differential refraction index measurement. SOLUTION: This flow cell can perform accurate measurement without increasing the sample. This can be attained by providing two fluid chambers differed in volume within the cell. The sample chamber is set smaller than the reference chamber, and the reference chamber is designed so that incoming light beam can pass through the sample chamber and then pass through the reference chamber without brushing the wall of the reference chamber or colliding with a corner of the cell even if its position is shifted by a partition element between the chambers. Since the refraction of the transmitted beam depends on the refractive index difference between fluids and the refractive index of the fluid to the constituting material of the cell containing the fluid, the reference chamber is designed so as to transmit the incoming light beam without deterioration in the range of the refractive indexes of the fluid and the cell.
