PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston structure of an internal combustion engine simple in structure, excellent in durability, reduced in noise in cold, and capable of preventing friction from increasing in hot. SOLUTION: In this piston structure, in cold, the axis of a piston 1 is offset from the centers of piston pin holes 17A and 17B, and a first thick-walled part having a wall thickness thicker than the wall thickness of a piston on the top part 11 side and the anti-thrust side is formed at least at a part of the tip part 11 side and the thrust side of the piston, and a second thick-walled part having a wall thickness thicker than the wall thickness of the piston 1 on the lower side and the thrust side is formed at least at a part of the piston 1 on the lower side and the anti-thrust side.
