PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet curing type coating composition having sufficiently excellent weather resistance suitable for practical use with suppressed yellowing, crazing and loss in gloss. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet curing type coating composition comprises a photopolymerizable monomer, a photopolymerization initiator, an ultraviolet absorber and a hindered amine light stabilizer and may further contain a thioxanthone spectral sensitizer such as diethylthioxanthone. A coated product of the ultraviolet curing type coating having more excellent weather resistance can be obtained by carrying out ultraviolet irradiation at a low oxygen concentration.
