SYSTEM FOR TREATING SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution of a sludge concentrating/treating system capable of automatically concentrating sludge without using a sludge concentrator. SOLUTION: This sludge concentrating/treating system is provided with: a collection tank 1 for collecting sludge; a precipitation tank 2 for precipitating sludge and; a concentration tank 3 positioned on the upper side of each of the collection tank 1 and the precipitation tank 2 for supplying the sludge moved from the collection tank 1 to the precipitation tank 2. A return port 32 for returning the sludge to the collection tank 1 and a supply port 33 for supplying the sludge to the precipitation tank 2 are arranged on the concentration tank 3 at the positions lower than that of an inlet 31 through which the sludge is moved from the collection tank 1. The amount of the sludge to be returned to the collection tank 1 and the amount of the sludge to be supplied to the precipitation tank 2 are set by a predetermined ratio so that the constitution of this system can be simplified and the concentrated sludge can be produced at a low cost.
