<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-temperature air generator, efficiently recovering energy of unburnt gas contained in unburnt gas as high-temperature air. <P>SOLUTION: A small pulse burner 2 is fitted to a 1/4 wavelength pipe 1, whereby a flame is generated in a part 1/4 of the length of 1/4 wavelength pipe 1 from the incinerator side. The part 1/4 from the end of the 1/4 wavelength pipe 1 is heated by the flame. On the other hand, the end of the 1/4 wavelength pipe 1 is connected to a cyclone 3. A cooling water pipe 4 is provided in an area 1/4 long from the other end, thereby cooling the 1/4 wavelength pipe 1. Thus, the 1/4 wavelength pipe 1 is formed, and the 1/4 wavelength 1 always generate gas columnar vibration.
