<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which the time required for warming up at the start of the fuel cell system is suppressed to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a reformer 12 which is supplied with a hydrocarbon system fuel and generates a reformed gas containing hydrogen by reforming reaction, a fuel cell 14 which is supplied with the reformed gas at an anode and is supplied with a cathode gas at a cathode containing oxygen and generates electric power, a cathode off-gas passage 20 which supplies the cathode off-gas exhausted from the cathode to the reformer 12, and a bypass passage 24 which directly supplies the cathode gas to the reforming part 12 by bypassing the cathode at the warming up of the system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
