<p>A compact air conditioning and heating system for an enclosed room has a main unit and a recirculating unit in separate housings (6, 30) and linked by a duct (22) with flow control valve. The main unit draws in outside air (7) and passes it over a filter (10) a fan (11) a heat exchanger (15) and into the room. The recirculating unit is fitted with a heating unit (31) and is positioned under windows to warm the windows by convection and thereby prevent cold air from dropping from the windows. The recirculating unit is linked to the intake of the main unit by control valves. The user is able to select the operating mode from complete air change to complete recirculating operation.</p> |
