PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presentation support system, capable of making a series of processes concerning the presentation efficiently proceed. SOLUTION: Either of roles of a chairperson, a presenter or general participants is set for each of a plurality of remote controllers for remote-controlling a projector. The presentation supporting method includes a first step of registering, in a controller; the role for controlling projecting behavior of the presentation practiced by the projector; a second step of supporting introduction of the presenter according to information input to the controller from the remote controller, to which the role of the chairperson has been set; a third step of supporting the presentation, according to information input from the remote controller to which the role of the presenter has been set; and a fourth step of supporting question-and-answer session according to information input, to the controller, from the remote controller to which the roles of the presenter and general participants have been set.
