PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repellant against small animals and noxious insects, excellent in lasting property in wet places and also by considering the safety in environment. SOLUTION: This granular repellant is obtained by solidifying a mixture of 70-120 wt. % calcined gypsum with 35-80 wt. % wood tar liquid or bamboo tar liquid based on an inorganic or organic granules having a liquid-absorbing function, with water.
