PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device shortened in length of a rear end guide thereof and capable of automatically regulating a rear end of paper sheets with the rear end guide in response to the set paper sheets. SOLUTION: In the paper feeding device LT provided with a paper sheet loading part 41 possible to be loaded with paper sheets S having a different size and a paper feeding part 42 for feeding paper sheets loaded on the top one by one, the rear end guide 60 for regulating a rear end of the paper sheets in the paper feeding direction is positioned over the paper sheets loading part freely to move in the vertical direction, and a plurality of predetermined rear end guides provided in the paper feeding direction and suspended by a dead weight thereof regulate the rear end of the predetermined paper sheet, and the rear end guide positioned on a paper feeding part side of the predetermined rear end guide is structured to be pushed to move upward by the paper sheet positioned in the top surface.
