PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which is fixed with buffering materials for bearing a product on a pallet and combines a packaging material for covering the product to the pallet, and improves workability in fitting the buffering materials on the pallet. SOLUTION: First fitting parts 20 which determine the position of the buffering materials 13 on the pallet 10, and second fitting parts 30 which fit together after fitting of the first fitting parts 20 to determine the direction of the buffering materials 13 on the pallet 10, are formed on the pallet 10 and the buffering materials 13, respectively. Each first fitting part 20 consists of, for example, a circular recession 11a formed on the pallet 10 and a cylindrical projection 14a formed on the buffering material 13. Each second fitting part 30 consists of, for example, a rectangular recession 11b formed on the pallet 10 and a rectangular parallelepiped projection 14b formed on the buffering material 13.
