FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant resin composition excellent in flame retardance, mechanical properties and adhesion to epoxies. SOLUTION: The flame retardant resin composition comprises 100-280 mass.pts. of a metal hydrate to 100 mass.pts. of a resin component containing 80-100 mass% of an ethylenic copolymer containing 0-20 mass% of at least one kind of resin selected from the group consisting of polyolefins modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, ethylenic copolymers modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 50-95 mass% of vinyl acetate as a monomer component and/or 15-70 mass% of an ethylene-(meth)acrylate copolymer containing≥50 mass% of (meth)acrylate as a monomer component.
