PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube equipped with a frame structure capable of securing rigidity with weight increase restrained. SOLUTION: The cathode-ray tube is provided with a pair of support members 7 set in opposition, a pair of elastic members 8 in junction with each support member to support it, and a shadow mask 6 jointed to each support member 7 with tensile force impressed. The support member is nearly L-shaped in cross section, and has a bent part 7c at its tip end deformed in a tube axis direction of the cathode-ray tube at the bottom face part 7b of the supporting member jointed with the elastic member 8.
