PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of producing static image data with a comparatively high resolution for a scene desired by a user during photographing of a dynamic image by a dynamic image producing apparatus without making the structure of the dynamic image producing apparatus complicated. SOLUTION: An image producing method prepares dynamic image data and frame particularizing information to particularize at least one frame image among a plurality of frame images configuring the dynamic image data and to be produced in response to a prescribed operation by the user during production of the dynamic image data, selects a plurality of the frame images in the dynamic image data as first image data on the basis of the frame particularizing information, composes the selected first image data to generate second image data with higher resolution than that of the first image data as the static image data.
