<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission device, provided between a gear and a rotation shaft, with improved rigidity, and restricted rotation irregularity, and an image forming device, with restricted density irregularity in output images caused by rotation irregularity. <P>SOLUTION: This drive transmission device is provided with a resin gear 102 provided with a tooth part 102_1, having gear teeth for transmission of driving force, and a fixture part 102_2 of thick diameter, a rotation shaft 101 having a part 101a inserted to the other end 102a of the resin gear 102, and formed in tapered thin diameter, and an engagement member 103 engaged with both the fixture part 102_2 and the rotation shaft 101 to fix the fixture part 102_2 to the rotation shaft 101.
