PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote start method for obtaining an OS start program by connecting a remote start server through a network, capable of expanding an object to a wide area, and preventing effects from differences of a network card and a main board maker. SOLUTION: A hardware device connected to a PC system intercepts an interruption request sent to a disk of the PC system, turns it into a TCP/IP network packet and transmits it through the network to the remote start server, reads a corresponding program file block, conducts confirmation operation to a response packet received form the start server, decodes it into a file block, and transmits to the PC system again.
