<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of specifying the kind of an occurring abnormality to some degree, while avoiding complication of control caused by detecting individually a plurality of abnormalities by existence of each cause. <P>SOLUTION: A normal set data group which is an assembly of normal value combinations on set information comprising a plurality of information of mutually different kinds is stored in RAM 1b or ROM 1c which is an information storage means of a control part 1. At least two or more set information, namely, the first set information comprising a plurality of information of different kinds and the second set information comprising a plurality of information having a combination different therefrom, are acquired from the RAM 1b, the ROM 1c, various sensors 2 or an operation display part 3, and a CPU 1a which is a determination means determines respectively the distance of Maharanobis on each set information based on the normal set data group and the acquired result of each set information, and uses it for determination of abnormalities in each category. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
