PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device in which a field of view of a user is opened at least to such a extent that no uncomfortable feeling is given to the user, as needed, without reducing optical performance as much as possible. SOLUTION: The information display device comprises: a first member (16A) which supports a display element and is disposed near the side of the head or the top of the head of a user; a second member (16B) which supports a plurality of reflection planes disposed serially to an optical path of display light flux from the display element to the eyes of the user and is at least partially disposed in front of the eyes of the user; a mounting means for mounting the first member and the second member onto the user; and a saving mechanism (17) for saving all the second member from the front of the eyes while keeping the position where the first member is disposed.
