PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus, which works in correspondence to a variety of packaging patterns, suppresses an increase in an installation area, and improves the maintainability of the apparatus drastically. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus 3 is used to package a stack of sheets 7 consisting of a plurality of stacked PTP sheets, and comprises a band means 11, a direction changing means 12, and a pillow packaging means 13. The band means 11 puts a band film 30 around the stack of sheets 7, and transfers the sheets 7 downstream. The band means 11 may transfer the stack of sheet 7 directly without putting around the band film 30. The direction changing means 12 changes a transfer direction of the stack of sheets 7 to the one that is appropriate for pillow packaging. Then the pillow packaging means 13 puts the stack of sheets 7 into a pillow package.
