PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elucidate the control mechanism of P-glycoprotein expression in an organism and to determine the occurrence of drug sensitivity and adverse effect. SOLUTION: The subject method for determining drug sensitivity of a cell to be examined comprises identifying genetic polymorphism of MDR1 (T3587G) of the cell to be examined.
