PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence adapted to a slope and also capable of freely being adapted to the angle of its inclination. SOLUTION: Two circular arc-shaped cutouts 40 and 40 are formed around fixed parts 3 of a lateral material 2, and a portion surrounded by the cutouts 40 and 40 is formed in a bent part 4. By twisting the bent part 4 at connection parts 41 and 41 between the cutouts 40 and 40, the lateral material 2 can be tilted relative to a vertical material 1. Namely, when a force is applied to the lateral material 2 to tilt it in the longitudinal direction, the connection parts 41 and 41 are twisted, the bent part 4 is kept stationary, the vertical material 1 is kept in a vertical attitude, and only a body of the lateral material 2 is tilted. The tilt angle can be set to any angle in accordance with to the slope. These operations can be performed both at a construction site and a manufacturing plant.
