<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily change a display in information about price or the like of a merchandise displayed on a shelf board of a merchandise display shelf. <P>SOLUTION: The merchandise display shelf including an electronic paper as a shelf tag and a merchandise information management computer for managing both of merchandise information and design information are connected to an intranet. The merchandise management computer designates an address of the electronic paper having a display contents to be changed for the specification of electronic paper, and the merchandise information and design information thereof are transmitted to the merchandise display shelf including the electronic paper through the intranet. The merchandise display shelf transmits the merchandise information and design information to the electronic paper when the electronic paper specified by the designated address is included. The electronic paper receives the merchandise information and design information when specified by the designated address, and the display contents are rewritten into a new display of the merchandise information according to the design information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
