<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a schedule generation assisting system which assists generation of a schedule. <P>SOLUTION: A schedule data storage means 1 stores data of a decided schedule. A desired condition data input means 5 inputs data about a desired condition about an undecided schedule, and a desired condition data storage means 2 stored the data. A schedule vacancy number detection means 7 detects the number of schedule vacancies matching the desired condition based on the schedule data and the desired condition data. A schedule vacancy threshold value determination means 8 determines whether the number of schedule vacancies is not more (or less) than a predetermined threshold value or not.
