<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an impact load from being excessively applied on an instrument panel reinforcement, when a vehicular component and the like that is not intended collides to a tip end part due to extension of the tip end part in the front of a vehicle of a guide surface guiding change in posture of a pedal bracket. <P>SOLUTION: In a crushable pedal of an automobile, a first guiding member 300 having a first guide surface 301a guiding the posture change of the pedal bracket 200 is provided with a notch 301b at the tip end part with which collision of the vehicular component and the like that is not intended is likely to occur. Therefore, when the vehicular component and the like is collided, that part is collapsed, and tilting of the first guide surface 301a is prevented from changing to a more vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
