PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for the influence of a voltage drop appearing in an output voltage due to the equivalent series resistance of a power system output filter in a power supply. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises a power system output filter passing output power, and first and second filters provided independently from the power system output filter wherein a first filter provided separately is connected with one input of an error amplifier, the difference voltage between the output from a second filter provided separately and the output from a power system output filter is added to a reference voltage to obtain a new reference voltage which is then connected with the other input of the error amplifier thus feeding the output signal back to the error amplifier. According to the arrangement, a voltage drop due to the equivalent series resistance appearing in the output voltage from the power supply can be compensated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
