OPEN TYPE ROOF STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open type roof structure which does not generate large force acting on the drive mechanism for a movable roof panel. SOLUTION: The open type roof structure is equipped with the movable roof panel for opening and closing a roof opening provided on a fixed roof part for the vehicle. In the open type roof structure for the vehicle, a guide is provided at the two opposing sides of the roof opening, a guide member connecting the roof panel to the guide is slidable in the interior, and at least a part of each guide is movable in the substantially vertical direction relative to the roof panel.
