<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a wasteful consumption of the electric power without worsening the front visibility of the driver while the size of the revolving radius is taken into consideration, in a swivel control of a vehicle headlight. <P>SOLUTION: A left and a right swivel light (auxiliary headlight) as auxiliary headlights to be added to a left and a right headlight having a fixed light distribution region and swivel controlled on the basis of the steering angleθs and the vehicle speed V are put off when the vehicle turning radius R calculated at Step S104 is as large as no less than the specified value Rth (Step S106) using the steering angleθs sensed by a steering angle sensor and the vehicle speed based upon the left VL and right wheel speeds VR given by a left and a right wheel speed sensor.
