PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder cosmetic good in spreadability on and adhesion to the skin, uniformly applicable to the skin, and excellent in moist feeling. SOLUTION: The powder cosmetic contains compound powder that is obtained by blending organic flaky powder with microparticle-bearing powder obtained by bearing microparticles on organic or inorganic powder via a binder followed by compounding both of them. In this powder cosmetic, the organic flaky powder consists preferably of surfactant polyvalent metal salt powder, resin powder or amino acid-based powder, and the binder consists preferably of a film-forming polymer.
