INK SET FOR INK JET PRINTER, INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS USING THE SAME INK SET AND METHOD FOR DETECTING RESIDUAL AMOUNT OF INK FOR INK JET PRINTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for ink jet recording having electrical conductivity and suitable for improvement of granular feeling and realization of high tone and an electrode detection system and to provide an ink jet recording apparatus by using the ink set and to provide a method for detecting residual amount of ink for ink jet by using the apparatus.

SOLUTION: The ink set for ink jet printer is composed of two or more kinds of inks in which the maximum absorbances in 380-780 nm wavelength are different in the same serial colors. In the ink set, a first ink having low maximum absorbance uses at least one kind of coloring material in which the maximum absorbance in 380-780 nm wavelength when the ink is diluted by 100 times with pure water is ≤1.0 and äelectrical conductivity [mS/cm]/maximum absorbance in 380-780 nm wavelength} of an aqueous solution having 0.001% coloring material concentration is ≥2.0. The ink jet recording apparatus is obtained by using the ink set. The method for detecting the residual amount of ink for ink jet comprises using the ink jet recording apparatus.
