<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance system of a board for a system for enabling a configuration content of boards for the entire system to be known and enabling maintenance to be rapidly executed without examining the boards for the system by extracting them one by one when the board for the system incorporated in a casing is broken down. <P>SOLUTION: Wireless IC tags 8a-8d with IDs of a plurality of printed circuit boards 2a-2d written are attached to resin-like knobs 6a-6d on the front face of the plurality of printed circuit boards 2a-2d exposed from respective openings 4 of the casing 1; transmission and reception are carried out to/from the respective wireless IC tags 8a-8d from a wireless tag reader/writer 12 of a portable information terminal 10 on the side of a user; thereafter corresponding new ID data are sent back to a portable computer 14 on the user side from a database 20 on the basis of the ID information transmitted from the portable computer 14 to a computer 18 of a board vendor; and maintenance of the printed circuit boards 2a-2d is carried out on the basis of the sent-back new ID data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
