PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string which can bind or connect an object through one touch operation in a short time. SOLUTION: Cut grooves 2 are formed alternately from both ends to the center of the string 1 with a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction of the string 1. When the string 1 is bunded, the string 1 is cut in a length longer than that required for binding an object, the string 1 is wrapped around the object by one turn, the two ends of the string 1 are engaged with the grooves 2 on one side face being inserted in the grooves 2 in the other side face. If the string 1 is pulled in the direction to disengage the engagement of the string 1, the two ends of the string 1 is disengaged, and the string 1 can be reused. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
