MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF VINYL CHLORIDE COPOLYMER RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a vinyl chloride copolymer resin excellent in polymerization stability and with a scarce scale formation, which comprises a copolymerization product of a vinyl chloride monomer and a macromonomer having a polymer consisting of an ethylenic unsaturated monomer with double bonds as a major chain. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises mixing and dispersing the above macromonomer in a vinyl chloride-based monomer preliminarily and then starting a copolymerization reaction. The method of the preliminary mixing and dispersing comprises supplying the whole of the specified amount of vinyl chloride-based monomer and the above macromonomer in a mixing bath and mixing and dispersing at a temperature from 20°C to 60°C for at least 1 minute.
