A sauna room (20) equipped with far infrared radiation generator (1) and having a room temperature of 80-110°C. The far infrared radiation generator (1) comprises a far infrared emitting panel (2), an electric heating wire (3) embedded in the panel and a thermal insulating body (4) surrounding the emitting panel at its peripheral sides and back surface, wherein the emitting panel (2) is made of silicon dioxide and water glass, the thermal insulating body is made of white fly ash, alumina cement and optionally asbestos or glass fibers, and the emitting panel (2) is heated by the embedded electric heating wire (3) to a temperature of 200-350°C, preferably 250-300°C, thereby irradiate far infrared rays at an emissivity of 0.5 or higher for wavelengths of 9-20mum and of 0.05 or less for wavelengths of 3mum or below. |
