<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a program and a method for processing external characters for creating electronic form data capable of normally displaying and outputting the external characters irrespective of an external character system of a computer on the receiver side, displaying and outputting high-definition external characters irrespective of resolution on the receiver side. <P>SOLUTION: The external characters are normally displayed and outputted irrespective of the external character system on the receiver side by converting the external characters into vector data indicating their contours on the transmitter side of the electronic form data and expressing the vector data as a line image. Since difference is hard to be generated in image quality even when expanding or reducing according to resolution of a display device and an output device to process as the vector data, smooth and high-definition display and output becomes possible in comparison with the case of transmitting image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
