PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stable disk cartridge loading operation in simple configuration. SOLUTION: A cartridge holder 4 for holding a disk cartridge comprises guide holes 91, 92 extending in a disk cartridge loading/unloading direction, engagement pins 108, 109, 10 which are abutted on the disk cartridge and guided while engaged in the guide holes, and a movable plate 5 which is freely movable in the disk cartridge loading/unloading direction. A torsion spring 107 is provided to energize the movable plate forward when the movable plate is positioned forward rather than a predetermined position relative to the cartridge holder when the movable plate and the disk cartridge are abutted and the engagement pins are guided by the guide holes 91, 92, and to energize the movable plate when the movable plate is positioned backward rather than the predetermined position.
