MOBILE TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND TELEVISION PROGRAM VIEWING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A mobile terminal apparatus and a television program viewing system using the same, wherein even if a television program is received way from home and this reception is interrupted, a separate television receiver recording/reproducing apparatus allows the remaining part of the television program to be easily viewed later. There are included a television receiving part for receiving a television program; storage means for storing, as bookmarks, any time at which the television program is being received by the television receiving part and the channel on which the television program is received by the television receiving part; and transfer means for transferring the bookmarks stored in the storage means to a separate television receiver recording/reproducing apparatus. The separate television receiver recording/reproducing apparatus is adapted to allow the received television program to be viewed based on the bookmarks. In this way, a television program is received by use of the mobile terminal apparatus, and any time and channel are stored, as bookmarks, into the mobile terminal apparatus. Then, the bookmarks are transferred to the separate television receiver recording/reproducing apparatus, which allows the content of the television program corresponding to the foregoing time to be viewed correctly based on the bookmarks.
