The invention relates to the transport mechanical engineering and may be used in the diagnostication of motor vehicles. The device for diagnosticating the friction clutch comprises two transducers of rotational speed of the drive and driven parts of the friction clutch, two shapers of rectangular pulses and a recorder. Novelty consists in that the device additionally comprises two one-shot multivibrators, the inputs of which are connected to the outputs of the shapers of rectangular pulses, two averaging units, the inputs of which are connected to the outputs of the one-shot multivibrators, and a summation unit, the inputs of which are connected to the outputs of the averaging units, and the output ( to the recorder, the inputs of the shapers of rectangular pulses are connected to the outputs of the transducers of rotational speed.
