SECURITY SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system for a vehicle mounting a remote starting type immobilizer system with which a regular user can certainly cancel an immobilizer function in the case when a regular key is also stolen when the vehicle is stolen and even in the case when the stolen vehicle is in a state incapable of receiving a signal from a base station.

SOLUTION: The base station 10 also transmits an ID code to cancel the remote immobilizer function when transmitting a starting demand of the remote immobilizer function to the vehicle 1. An immobilizer ECU 2 receiving them prohibits starting of an engine 8 with a key other than a key 9 having this ID code. Only the regular user who is an owner of the key 9 having the ID code can start the engine 8.
