Arc extinguishing installation for a circuit breaker with a double break

Inserted in an arc quencher circuit, an asymmetric blowing loop has a Lorentz section (811) parallel to a running rail so as to amplify a magnetic blowing action on an electric arc. Fixed contacts (21,22) link to connection terminals in a safety switch and make contact via two bridge contacts (31,32) on a contact bridge (3). An independent claim is also included for a safety switch with a two-way interrupter switch.
