Electrical terminal

The terminal unit has a contact part (14) with a connection section (18) for electrical and mechanical connection of the unit to an electrical lead (24). A reception part (16) surrounds the contact part in a region of a contact section (22) arranged in series in pushing through direction. The reception part has tongues (32, 45) facing toward a dilating section (20) of the contact part and bent over into the reception part. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing of an electrical terminal unit.
