PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable voltage measuring device easy in measuring operation, and hardly causing a wrong operation. SOLUTION: This voltage measuring device 10 comprises a measuring unit 11 and a recorder 12 connected with a cable 13. The measuring unit 11 has a roughly pistol-type form, and is equipped with contact terminals 21, 22 on the tip of a support part 14. A display device 18 equipped with a voltage display panel 23 for displaying a measured voltage and a counting display panel 24 for displaying the number of times of measurement is mounted on the upper part of a grip 15, and a trigger 17 (switching part) for issuing an instruction for transmitting data to a storage device of the recorder 12 is provided on the front side of the grip 15.
