The device consists of a holder for a wheel with a burst/faulty tire and of small wheels mounted on the holder, one of which is pivoted in a horizontal plane. The wheel holder (1b) also has mounted on it, an inertia brake (7) for the device, a wheel roll-over blocking device (5,a,b), and a return blocking device for the inactive wheel. All of these are activated when the wheel moves onto the holder. All appliances are connected to electromechanical switching elements, which are activated by a signal transmitter on the wheel holder. Alternatively, all are connected to mechanical elements (9,8,a,b).
